...but I've managed to take up knitting! Of all things! I've got the KnitWit flower loom, the full set of round Knifty Knitter looms and two rectangle looms, one set of 3.75mm DPNs, one set of 29" circulars, and one pair of 6.5mm regular knitting needles. :) I'm trying to make my mom a blanket on the looms, but it's taking F-O-R-E-V-E-R! I've made three hats, two scarves, a knitted kitty cat, a headband, and various little swatches of this and that. I only started about 3 weeks ago, but I'm hooked!
Current projects:
Sweater for Cooper (back panel and half of one front panel done)
Scarf for my sister (half done)
Scarf for me (half done)
Blanket for mom (don't want to talk about it)
Hat/scarf set for friend (hat done, scarf about half done)
Hat for me (just started)
Pillow front (first project on regular full size needles - 1/4 done)

Belt for my sister

As you can tell, I have a strong problem with sticking to one project at a time. Every loom and needle set is full! I need to finish something up fast so I can make the baby booties, since she was born a couple days ago! I've just started this hobby and I'm already getting behind. :)

My little baby's not such a baby anymore, and he survived his first year so I guess that's a good sign. I still miss my tiny newborn, but I'm loving the "new and improved" version!

...what the heck is wrong with me. I started this blog so I could write to and about my son and my life with him. Soon after I started it, I decided to hand it out as my personal homepage when I comment on other people's blogs. And now? I CANNOT WRITE. I'm just so... I don't know, scared I guess that one of the blogging all-stars will actually click on my link and read my page and think I'm stupid or ditzy or - heaven forbid - boring. But you know what? I am boring! I do write about stupid stuff! This IS my 17th attempt at starting a blog! And I refuse to make it private because I love my son and I think he's the most awesomenest kid in the whole wide world and even if I can't bring myself to actually write anything about him, I think pages like this should still be out there so people can randomly realize he exists!
He's a whole year old now, and I've written nothing about him. Sometime soon, it just might be time to start.
